Job Overview:
As a pivotal team member, you'll play a crucial role in advancing local CICA overhead line solutions. Your primary focus will involve refining and optimizing design solutions to maintain competitiveness in the market. Engage in groundbreaking research and development of electrical insulation for Transmission, leveraging your extensive knowledge of the local grid market, standards, design, construction, and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead project structure building, tower design, and foundation design, incorporating knowledge of Europe/North America market standards and practices.
- Contribute to R&D activities on electrical insulation for Transmission, focusing on the construction and renovation of 1000kV UHV, 500kV, and 220kV lines.
- Identify and realize business opportunities, seamlessly integrating company products into grid projects, and effectively communicating through written and oral means.
- Conduct comprehensive transmission line optimization, engineering estimates, and cost evaluation studies.
- Stay updated on technical standards and codes such as NESC, ASCE, IEEE, IEC, and CSA for line engineering.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize transmission line projects.
Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in transmission line engineering in Europe/North America.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related domains.
- Proficiency in engineering transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
- Familiarity with technical standards and codes such as NESC, ASCE, ANSI, IEEE, IEC, and CSA.
- Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, AutoCAD, and other line engineering software tools.
- Target-oriented, self-motivated, and innovative mindset.
- Fluent in English.
