The Impact You’ll Make in this Role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Automating the creation of golden images using Packer and Ansible with Bash and PowerShell scripting.
  • Ensuring the golden images meet compliance requirements by remediating vulnerabilities and enhancing hardening scripts.
  • Creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Automating infrastructure deployment using CloudFormation.

Requirements:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with three (3) years of IT, DevOps, or infrastructure experience OR High School Diploma/GED with seven (7) years of IT, DevOps, or infrastructure experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using Git for managing source control.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control, and build processes).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Linux experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, Lambda, IAM, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Linux Amazon Linux 2 automation and CI/CD.
  • Packer experience building AMIs.
  • Certification: AWS DevOps Engineer / AWS Certified Developer.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
